socha samajha mana mita piyaravaa

This composition is a bandish by Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande. It is a homily of sorts, which is relatively rare in a bandish. The poet reminds himself that he (and, by extension, the listener) must mend his ways and find his true guide now, because with every passing moment, time is running out and life is that much shorter.
